Teething, July 18, 2005

Owen has been teething now for about a week. Andrew just started teething in the past day or two. They have gotten much fussier than they have been so far--especially at night. Also, they will occasionally cry while sleeeping without waking up. Unfortunately, the teething is not letting them sleep through the night.

Last Monday was the four-month doctor's appointment. Andrew was 19 lbs, 1.5 oz (so we were pretty close on our guess there), and Owen was 16 lbs, 13.5 oz. By now, he is topping 17 lbs (they grow about an ounce a day).

Andrew was 27 1/2 inches long. Owen was 26 3/4. Andrew is in the 95+ percentile on all of his measurements. Owen is around 95% for height and weight, but 50% for his head. This is up from his earlier measures: 10% at his first appointment and 25% at his two-month appointment, so his head is starting to catch up to his body.

On Friday, the boys got baptised by their great-uncle Charles. We went over to Jill and Brian's house and had a nice ceremony in their backyard. On Saturday, Jeff and Kathy got married (congratulations!). We took the kids to both the wedding itself and the reception.
